How it works

Your protocol, step by step

1

OVULATION DELAY

Levonorgestrel prevents or delays the release of an egg from the ovary. If no egg is released, sperm cannot fertilise it.

2

FERTILISATION INHIBITION

It may also alter cervical mucus and the uterine lining, making it harder for sperm to reach an egg — though this is not the primary mechanism.

3

SINGLE-DOSE SIMPLICITY

Just one tablet is taken — no follow-up doses required.

Your next period may be slightly early, late, or different in flow. If your period is more than one week late, take a pregnancy test. You can resume regular birth control immediately.
